Marcus Morley has over 25 years of experience in capital markets. Currently serving as  Investment Director for Wentworth Hall's Family Office, Marcus's career spans dynamic roles in the City of London, from analyst at UBS to financial writer at Thomson Financial and Reuters.

As Business Development Director for Granite Alphen Capital, a Swiss hedge fund specialising in volatility strategies, Marcus refined his expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes.

 

Over the past decade, he has become a prominent figure in the FinTech and blockchain sectors, carving a niche as an investor, advisor, and thought leader.

Marcus was an early investor in the Avalanche Blockchain and co-founded a real-world asset blockchain venture in the UAE, Mavryk Network. He also spearheaded business efforts at Mavryk Network, a cutting-edge Layer-1 blockchain, and is a sought-after lecturer on blockchain fundamentals at Reichman University.

 

His portfolio reflects his visionary approach, encompassing groundbreaking sectors like Decentralised Science (DeSci) and Real-World Assets (RWAs).

 

Beyond investments, Marcus has advised other family offices and been a mentor to Barclays’ FinTech hub, Techstars Accelerator, and StartupBootcamp.
